Fete, Drink and Shmooze In Person at the Parrish Art Museum's Annual "Two Forks & A Cork" Event

On Friday, May 14 from 6–8 pm, the Parrish Art Museum will hostTwo Forks and a Cork—an evening of local wine and spirits tastings, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and gallery exploration. The annual event is back in-person, happily welcoming art, food and spirits lovers to the striking museum.

The event features a selection of white, rosé, and red wines from premiere East End vineyards along with flavored moonshine and vodka from a local craft distillery. Food tastings complement the evening with bites from local artisanal cheese shops and bakeries, caterers, renowned chef, and popular restaurants. Admission for Two Forks and a Cork is open to attendees 21 and older.

Guests will enjoy live music throughout the evening. Participating vineyards include Channing Daughters Winery, Kontokosta Winery, Macari Vineyards & Winery, Palmer Vineyards, Paumanok Vineyards and RG | NY. For an extra kick, there will be;spirits from Twin Stills Moonshine. Wine and spirit producers will be on hand to discuss their processes and products. 

 

Hors d’oeuvres and snacks will be provided by A La Mode, Cheese Shoppe, Chef Peter Ambrose, East End Food Institute, Elegant Affairs Caterers, Erica’s Rugelach & Baking Co., and Lunch Lobster Roll, all from the surrounding towns.

While at the food and wine event, guests are invited to visit the Parrish Museum’s new exhibition, An Art of Changes: Jasper Johns Prints, 1960 – 2018. An illuminating survey of the artist’s six-decade printmaking practice with more than 90 works, the exhibit follows Johns through the years as he revises and recycles familiar motifs: the American flag, numbers,and the alphabet. 

 

Proof of full vaccination is required with mask wearing recommended when not eating or drinking..
