Talking about music always makes me think about beer (unless I'm at a classical concert, of course). Beer Month is next month, but there's one event this weekend that's pretty wonderful. Ever since my trip to Berlin, Leipzig and Dresden last October, I've fallen in love with German beers.
Hope to see you at this German Beer crawl sponsored by BeerMenus.com from 12pm-8pm on either Saturday or Sunday. The crawl visits 12 bars with outdoor seating in Williamsburg/Greenpoint, and we'll sip one German-style beer at each. It's a great chance to check out some new places.
Here's the full list of participating pubs: Berry Park, Breukelen Bier Merchants, Bushwick Country Club, The Gibson, Loreley, LuckyDog, Mugs Ale House, Pencil Factory, Second Chance Saloon, Shayz Lounge, tbd, and Veronica Peoples Club. There'lll be some food, too, including BBQ and the requisite bratwurst (so happy!). Tickets are $30. The meeting point is Mug’s Ale House , 125 Bedford Ave., Brooklyn (near the Bedford Ave. L stop).
